Job-hunting is literally taking over my life right now and my decision to come back home was partly influenced by the fact that it would be easier to find a job in London...surprise, surprise my optimism has backfired! However, I refuse to give up and will take any job i'm offered right now. Having all this time on my hands is brilliant at the moment but I know eventually cabin-fever will set in and i'll be begging random people to employ me. The only thing keeping me going is my plan to attend basically every single festival this summer which I can't do without any moolah! Anyways, rant over, it's nearly the weekend and I can't wait to catch up with those who actually have a life Monday to Friday.

March Collective Haul

SILK TOP H&M LEGGINGS American Apparel WEDGES Kurt Geiger

Hey guys! This is what I wore for St. Patrick's Day. I bought my Disco Pants a couple of days before and I couldn't wait to try them with everything. Excuse my face - camera flash coupled with double vodka mixers are a recipe for lazy eye!

I've been so busy recently with job applications and getting myself ready for a different university! I'm applying really late (the deadline was in January) but I'm hoping that I get into one of my choices. In between sorting my life out, I've managed to record some videos which i'll be uploading very soon on my YouTube channel! In the meantime, I've uploading a haul video filled with a few items i've collected in the last month or so! :)

Style Stalker: Arizka Sehoko

Quite literally stumbled across Arizko's blog Devil In The Detail this morning through my daily peek on Chictopia. How sick is her style?! Her style is so versatile and she's so effortlessly cool, not to mention incredibly beautiful! Check out Arizko's blog here... DEVIL IN THE DETAIL

Climax

DRESS & BOOTS Zara BELT Primark

Excuse the dodgy title but I couldn't come up with a name for this post, so i'm using the title of a song i'm completely obsessed with right now. This song has been getting me excited for my return back to London tomorrow. I honestly cannot wait to start all over again with university applications and job hunting - the lot! I've been hit with a sudden wave of sadness, however, when I think about all the friends i'll be leaving behind but I can't dwell on it too much because I hate crying! I've had a lovely weekend saying all my goodbyes and will miss so many people here in Aberdeen. This post is a lot longer than usual but i couldn't leave without mentioning a few people who've made my time in Aberdeen worthwhile so thank you NT, Agi, Sinead, Jordan, Annie, Jenna, Kirsty and all the other crazy mothertruckers!

P.S. Thank you to Nami & Gwen for my Whiskey and Haggis! :)

NAILS: Gradient Two-Toned Leopard

If you know me, you'll know that i'm obsessed with nail art and having my nails painted a different colour every week. I'm not the most artistic person in the world but i thought i'd give these amazing two-toned nails a try.

Inspiration:

Source: Tumblr

My Version:

You'll need:
- two/three colours of nail varnish (I used Milkshake & Celestial by Topshop)
- make up sponge & scissors

I started with two coats of my base colour, 'Milkshake' and let it dry. I then cut a small piece of the make-up sponge and painted a thin layer of 'Celestial' on the edge of the sponge.

Dab the colour lightly at the bottom of the nail - gradually build the colour by repeating and let dry.

For the leopard print - draw one curved line and roughly join with another curved line to make the 'spot'. TIP: I looked at pictures of leopards and practised drawing the outline of their 'spots'.
Fill the spaces around the 'spots' with some messy dots and a few curved lines. Et voila!

END RESULT:

P.S. Please excuse the writing on my hand! I have a terrible memory and need to write things on my body to remember! :)
